🟢 LEVEL 1: Beginner (A1-A2)

Goal: Build a basic foundation for daily interaction and travel. 


Module 1: Getting Started

  • Welsh alphabet & pronunciation
  • Greetings and introductions (“Shwmae”, “Sut wyt ti?”)
  • Numbers, days, months, telling time
  • Essential travel phrases (“Ble mae’r orsaf?”, “Dw i eisiau...")

 

Module 2: Everyday Situations

  • Ordering food and drinks (“Ga i baned o de?”)
  • Shopping & prices
  • Asking for directions
  • Basic public transportation vocabulary

 

Module 3: Travel Essentials

  • Booking accommodation
  • Airports, taxis, buses, trains
  • Safety and emergencies (“Helpwch fi!”)
  • Describing people, places, weather

 

Module 4: Culture & Manners

  • Welsh vs. English use in Wales
  • Social customs, politeness (“Os gwelwch yn dda”, “Diolch”)
  • National holidays and traditions

 

🟡 LEVEL 2: Elementary to Intermediate (A2-B1)

Goal: Communicate in routine situations, handle short interactions, and understand simple media.

 

Module 5: Studying in Wales

  • University vocabulary (courses, subjects, schedules)
  • Asking and answering questions in class
  • Writing emails and messages
  • Giving presentations (basic level)

 

Module 6: Work & Volunteering

  • Describing your job/skills
  • Applying for a job (CV, interviews)

Module 7: Tourist Communication
